What You Can Do:
Encourage and praise your daughters so they don't seek validation other places.
Make time for one-on-one time.
Breastfeeding, routines and affection when she's young build a strong relationship.
When she is a teenager, listen to her, respect her feelings, and set realistic expectations.
Encourage open discussions, especially about difficult topics; social media, body image, relationships, sex, education, etc. If she doesn't hear it from you, she will hear it somewhere else.
Learn what she loves and learn to love it too.
Show her/tell her love several times a day.
