......Why?
Because people didn't know. They didn't know how barbaric slavery really was.
For decades, whites in the north could conveniently turn a blind eye and ignore the culturally accepted practice that existed so far away.
......Until they saw it for themselves.
Below are explanations (with links to diagrams and videos) for the five types of abortion procedures. Like Peter taught Americans during the Civil War, it is vital that we understand exactly what we're fighting about.
Being fully informed is the least we can do. And either you already know....you don't know...
Or you don't want to know.
1) "A medical (or chemical) abortion is a non-surgical form of abortion in which the woman takes pills containing Mifepristone (RU-486) and Misoprostol (or Cytotec) to end the life of the baby."
2) "A suction, or aspiration, D&C abortion is a procedure in which a suction catheter is inserted into the mother’s uterus to extract the preborn baby. Tools are then used to scrape the lining of the uterus to remove any remaining parts."
3) "A dilation (dilatation) and evacuation abortion, D&E, is a surgical abortion procedure during which an abortionist first dilates the woman’s cervix and then uses instruments to dismember and extract the baby from the uterus."
4) "A third trimester induction abortion is performed at 25 weeks LMP to term. The abortionist will usually first kill the baby in utero by injecting a substance that causes cardiac arrest, and induces the mother’s labor to deliver her baby stillborn."
5) "Partial-birth abortion is a late-term abortion procedure... The initial step... involves two days of dilating the mother's cervix. Afterward, the abortionist uses an ultrasound probe to locate the lower extremities of the unborn baby. He then works large grasping forceps through the mother's vaginal and cervical canals and into her uterus. The abortionist grasps a leg of the infant with the forceps and pulls the leg into the mother's vagina. With a lower extremity in the vagina, the surgeon uses his fingers to deliver the opposite lower extremity, then the torso, the shoulders and the upper extremities. The skull lodges at the internal cervical os. While clutching the baby's shoulders... the abortionist then takes a pair of blunt curved Metzenbaum scissors... The surgeon then forces the scissors into the base of the skull. He carefully advances the tip, curve down, along the spine. Having safely entered the skull, he then spreads the scissors to enlarge the opening.
The surgeon removes the scissors and introduces a suction catheter into this hole and evacuates the skull contents."
